I flown to Europe and back twice . . .

. . . since CPAP. The second time was post 11-Sept-2001. No major incident. I did not try to use it on board. I used an inflatable travel pillow which together with siting up should minimize apneas. I also napped (with CPAP) once I got my hotel room. don;t nap for > 2 hours, or you won't adjust to the time zone. You may want to get there a day early, spend a night right near the airport, and drive the next day.

As far as small chlidern, have it explained to them ahead of time. It will help a great deal.
