Need suggestions

Posted by NYuser on March 10, 2002 at 17:40:16:

I am a relatively new user of a CPAP machine. I started out with the mask that covered my nose. I had problems with that. I kept on waking up with the feeling that I was suffocating. I am now using the nasal pillows, which feel great. However, I am finding that I still take the nasal pillows off during the night, this time without realizing it. I am not sure what to do. The times that I am aware that I take it off, I just put it back on and usually keep it on the rest of the night. Has antone experienced this? Any suggsestions?
Thanks.
