I have never tried wearing swimmer goggles. But I know that the Swimmers at I. U. use to wear them for 4 to 6 hours a day. So I doubt that they would hurt you. I personally tie a thin bandana around my head to cover my eyes. It has been very comfortable for me, and it stops the air from blowing across my eyes.
