Major sleep debt

Posted by sleepallday on March 10, 2002 at 23:27:33:

Well, I had my titration and am due to see the doc later this month.
I was so resistant to PAP initially, and now I'm counting the days. I just can't seem to regulate my sleep schedule. I fix it for a couple of days and then for whatever reason I have a worse night's sleep and can't get up until the afternoon. I want to fix it, but my body has other ideas. I've stopped driving (this has been hard) because I've gotten lost a lot lately trying to get to places I go to regularly. I know "tired", we're well acquainted, but this is ridiculous.
And now I'm being bad. I went to bed at 12:30 last night. I woke up to my alarm clock at three this afternoon (it was set to 10) and took two hour long naps that were anything but refreshing. I don't know when I'm going to get up again, so I don't want to go to sleep. Geez! I have things to do!
I cannot tell you how much I have missed this site during renovations (by the way..thank you). The only sleepy people I know in the flesh never ralized they had a problem until their wives told them they snore too loud. It's nice to know that there are other out there that consider these conditions notable enough to at the very least come here to discuss them.
Any ideas on how to force myself into that set schedule would be very much appreciated. Thank you all. I'm finally off to bed.
