Posted by Doug H. on March 11, 2002 at 03:43:53:The new models F&P HC-220 and HC-221, replace HC-200 and HC-201. These are the CPAP’s with built-in heated humidifiers. For both old and new models, the models ending in ‘1’ have compliance meters; the ones ending in ‘0’ do not. I saw this on the internet. Best I can tell the following changes were made:
• The new models are quieter.
• The new models can run on an AC/DC inverter (the later 200’s and 201’s could, too).
• The new models have an anti-rainout feature.
• 256 nights of compliance downloadable compliance data can be stored (HC-221 only, I think).
• Improved compliance meter display (Hc-221 only).
• Heated humidifier can be used as a passive humidifier or turned off (but not detached). The following features are unchanged:
• They can be plugged into alternating current in almost any country in the world. You’ll need only an adapter for the shape of the plug.
• They have a ramp, which can be disabled.
• Range is from 3 - 18 cm H2O.
• 400ml (HC-345) reservoir.
• Same dimensions and weight (5.3" x 6.5" x 11.6" / 5 pounds).
- Sorry, that's 221 not 211. (no text) Doug H. 03:45 3/11/02 (0)
