Capnometer is another machine that can be used with regular sleep study apparatus. Pople with brain injuries, respiratory problems etc. would need to have one hooked up. It measures carbon dioxide. It can show hypoxia that other testing machines would not pick up. I think it tells something about the heart/lung gas exchange. Thats about all I know.
