Mirage FF2: spacer ??

I have the FF2 mask, and have attached 4 superglued comestic wedges to releive the nose pressure. The seal is much better that the previous version.
The question: as this is basically a design flaw, haa the manufacturer come out with a "spacer" for the forehead?
Another question: are any of the parts, like the valve, interchangeable between the 2 masks?
