The Kinnner's:

Get one of the modern "Carry-on" hardcase cases that are designed to fit in the overhead bin (that flight crew made so popular).

I purchased a Samsonite bag. It holds the CPAP (I have traveled with both the AutoAdjust LT or 418P), Humidifier (F&P), Hose, Fullface Mask, Computer cable, 15 ft extensin cord & 2 prong plug in adapter, assorted spare parts, and asthma meds.

Note that the AutoSet T and the ResMed Humidiair are larger than some of the other equipment and would not fit into this same bag with all my other stuff (or I can't figure out how to get them to fit)

That bag, and my computer "briefcase" gives me 2 items to carry-on (the CPAP bag is exempt from carry-on limites in the US). I then check my suitcase in baggage. DO NOT CHECK YOUR CPAP because it might get lost.
