I was diagnosed severe at 40. Been through **** the last year. Really depressed. Have had CPAP for over a month and still not adjusting to it yet. Due to major sinus problems and surgeries, I have been a mouth breather for years and it is very difficult learning how to breath again. However IMHO CPAP is bringing me back to life.It has not been easy and I have a long way to go.The severity of my constant headaches has diminished. I do not get up numerous times of the night looking for food and the bathroom. No more sleepwalking.(I still find myself taking off my mask occasionally in my sleep. My doctor thinks I may need a pressure adjustment) And very few nightmares like I was having before. Our family life is starting to mend itself. I see lot more postives coming out of this; Now that the real problem has been found.
