Help! frustration with pillow breez

Posted by JTC on March 19, 2002 at 05:39:36:

My hubby has been using the pillow breez for about a month now, and when he first got it he slept really good the first couple of days, now he is not getting the full sleep he needs, he goes to bed at 10:00 PM and wakes up like clock work at 2 or 3 AM feeling a little better but not much, before he would lay awake till 3:00 Am and sleep 1 hour so he is fallling a sleep at the front end instead of the back end but not a complete rested sleep still, he is still keeping me awake, as he is trying to adjust it, it is either to tight on his nose and really sore, or to loose and leaking, he is getting very frustrated and I think he wants to give up! I need some help! he dose have a meeting today with the sleep doctor but he is very angry! he thinks the whole thing is so expensive, and we are having to pay towards it to with our insurance and he feels it is not benifiting him. I said to him, this has helped alot of people you are just going to have to keep working with it, I guess I did not help by waking him and tellling him it was leaking as it was making that blowing noise. I have nailed a nail in the wall we used one of my small tie things and rigged it to the wall to take some of the pressure of it against his nose and upper lip, that did help he said. He was so excited when he was first getting it and now he is so upsett and dosne't think it is working and giving him the benifit it is supose to be! he moves alot during the night tossing and turning one side to the other and on his back and I guess his head gear moves every time, he has adjusted it then it is to tight. Do you find the right adjustment then keep it! for my husband it like trying to find the right adjustment every single night and not being able to. I need some help please! Thank you in advance!
