This might seem like a stupid question but sometimes that works.

Are you sure the machine is set-up correctly. The autosetT can be set to operate as a normal C-PAP where even if it does detect apnia etc. it will remain at the constant pressure it is set at.

Go through a full diagnostic of the settings before you write off this machine.
