I have posted ad infinitum on this subject; I don't know if you can search and find them. I've spent more time with the opthalmologist that the pulmonologist. I've ranted about the fact that when you are fitted for glasses frames there are precise measurements, etc. and with a mask the DME slaps it on your face with his best wishes. I think I've been one of my guy's worst nightmares as I went through about 7 mask changes. I have suffered actual corneal damage to the point that I must use drops several times daily forever. The closest I've come to a solution (not wholly satisfactory) is that my daughter, bless her heart, took a set of those little eye things that the suntanners use and made little silicone molds to cover my eyes. They look kind of like the bowl of a teaspoon and rest on my eyes. I have them fastened across the nose with a thread. (Fastened together, not to my nose.) I tried the bandana, sleep mask, all that stuff to no avail. I'm resigned that, no matter what, the process gives me bags under the eyes that I never had previously and also resigned to the fact that rather than having an occasional bad hair day, it's now a bad hair life. Good luck.
