Aerophagia and atmospheric pressure change

Posted by tominjax on March 28, 2002 at 06:11:18:

I wonder if anyone else has attempted to connect the frequency of aerophagia to anything but chance?
I live at sea level and am trying to determine if it happens more when there is a pressure change in the weather.
I have a Remstar choice and do not think it is altitude compensating. I have noticed when i visit Atlanta there seems to be an enormous increase in the explosions.
I plan to pay more attention to this to get better data, but wonder if anyone else has any thoughts or observations on this?
It would seem logical for this to happen when the atm pressure decreases.
