Dear Tuppence - I hope your surgery does wonders. However, I need to ask if you have had a sleep test? As soon as I was tested, diagnosed, and went on CPAP, the headaches which had lasted all day disappeared - they just went away. Now I MAY have one a month. It's been amazing. No tiredness, no falling asleep at the wheel or while watching TV or while reading, and NO headaches. Good luck with the surgery, but if it doesn't do miracles, please check out the possibility of Apnea and CPAP.
