Exactly my idea. In the 3 cases of reversible dementia caused by Sleep Disordered Breathing that I found (2 were OSA, 1 was nocturnal hypoxia), a dramatic improvement was noted within 1 week.
I'm thinking 3 weeks at the most before making the decision to close or leave open.
