Thanks to you both for your replies.

Fog,funny you should say it is like being strangled. I have MANY dreams in the night that I am being strangled to death, or sat on by large person and can't breathe.

Then, at the last minute, in my dream, I either get away from the strangler, or the thing that is around my neck, or get out from under the big person!!!

I wondering if that is when I actually get my breath back.

I have been told that dreams are sometimes only seconds long, but seem like hours...so maybe I am stopping breathing, and having a quick dream, and then starting to breath again.

What do you think?
