Gills:

A "Run" is a series of consecutiove flow limitations. No Mfr triggers directly from a single flow limmitation anymore due to false triggers. Mallinckrodt's method is to score the flow limitations, and count it as a significant "flow limitation" event when the score reaches a total of 10 over the previous several breaths. In most cases the machine will then increase pressure when you score a run. However, a single isolated run that is not associated with other events in succession may not be responded to.

The Two mask leak lines (I'm not sure of their color off the top of my head).

The upper line is the maximum allowable leak, and is based on a certain base allowed leakage and a pressure factor (leakage goes up with pressure). The lower line is the actual detected leak rate.

When the lower line reaches the upper line the 418P rules it as a mask leak event and locks the pressure increase routine. This prevents false hypopnea and apnea triggers (mask leaks commonly look like that in conjunction with normal breathing).

Hope this helps.
