I have taken Dilantin for years to mask the muscle spasm/seizure activity but recently the Dilantin became ineffective in stopping the small spasms and I was constantly awakened by them all night, not to mention the sleep apnea. Acupuncture treatment has recently calmed the spasms but I have hope that it will all go away when I correct my sleep apnea condition and get my blood oxygen level up to normal.
