Hypothyrodism

Posted by Debra on April 03, 2002 at 07:31:35:

Has anyone here been diagnosed with hypotheyrodism. I have had blood test ran in the past for the thyrod. I have recently read where hypothyrodism will not show up on a blood test. If there is anyone here who is being treated
for hypothyrodism I would like to know if the treatment
has made a difference in your sleep apnea and also if it slowed down the weight gain. I have been on the cpap since
Oct, I sleep great but the weight is still going up and the energy level has not increased. Reading up on hypothyrodism
showed it was linked to sleep apnea and fibromyalgia.
