No CPAP, what do I do?

Well since I have to wait a whole week to see my doctor to get a CPAP machine, Whats the best thing that I can do since I dont have a machine? Should I try sleeping in a lazyboy and keeping my head up? Will that decrease my snoring and tube colapsing? What do you guys think?
