Me again and pressure setting

Posted by wisspurr in Alaska on April 07, 2002 at 12:34:02:

Have been doing reading in the posts and in other places regarding pressure settings and CO2 levels. The possibility that if the pressure setting is too low, that the CO2 is not getting expelled good enough. My pressure setting is only 7 and I have been waking up with a headache in the morning that goes away in about an hour.

I am questioning the fact that maybe they set my pressure too low to begin with. As I have said in previous posts, this is a relatively new sleep lab. While I was having my titration they started me out at 5 and them ramped me up until I started to wake again. They could only get to 7 until I woke up. Am concerned that because of the newness of the mask, hospital situation, strange bed, etc... that the pressure bothered me more than it should have in the lab. Now at home, it seems that 7 just isn't high enough. I never did get the results of my titration.

Should I talk to the doctor about this? I am more awake during the day and not craving naps. Maybe I just have a sensitive body and 7 is all I need. Any input would be most appreciated.
