I agree, your experience has been miserable. I had a trach tube from 6 mos. to 6 years of age, was accused of being a lazy child, was put on elavil as a young adult, and probably should have been sent to a sleep lab as soon as the science evolved. But that's all done and wishing won't make history any better. Retro-rage is tempting, believe me, I've gone there. But it eats up too much of my new-found time and energy. In the short 5 weeks I have been on my machine I have become filled with hope for the future. The turn around isn't instant or easy. And I fully intend to use my new energy for the things important to me, not my boss. So express your frustration here, love and appreciate your wife, and plan on celebrating your new life with that baby.
