alzheimers and sleep apnea

Posted by justwondering on April 18, 2002 at 10:44:02:

Has anyone ever seen any thing that linked alzheimers with
sleep apnea. The reason I'm asking is my grandmother had
a lot of the same health problems i have at along the same age in life. She died in the early 70's and at that time
not much was know about alzheimers not even a name that I recall. By the time my uncle had alzheimers in the 80's they
were calling it alzheimer and knew it was heritary. My doctor has never asked me if there was a family history
of alzheimers and I have never mention it. I assumed it was not related to apnea.
