I've heard a couple of things... I've heard that some people with apnea eat more/snack to keep awake during the day. My own favorites are the next two: I've heard that with the reduced oxygen level the metabolism slows down (kind of a pre-hibernation). And another -if you're tired all the time exercise often decreases...
