To everyone who has been so kind to respond to my lengthy missive:

Thank you so, so much. These messages are clearly heartfelt, and have been an enormous morale booster to me. It means a great deal to know that other people have shared at least some aspects of my experience, and I'm inspired by those who have worked through this and come out on the other side to a better life. I hope to be able to do the same!

The latest news for me is that I will probably be set up with the C-PAP within a week or two. I am counting the days, although I'm trying to keep my expectations somewhat in check, and be realistic about the path ahead. But I'm serious & 150% committed to following through on the solution.

I hope to be able to repay your kindnesses at some point in the future!
