I also wake up with my mask off. Once three times! Never remember doing it, or else I'm sure I'd put it back. It usually lies neatly on my pillow, straps still attatched, so I must perform a real smooth removal. Why and how I do it, I probably will never know. I work nights, so I sleep during the day, and my wife will probably never see it happen. The day I had it off 3 times, I had to get some extra sleep because what I got wasn't "good". Hang in there! If I ever find out what happens, I'll post and probably call it " Found out why my mask comes off".
