Check the cannister you have with your F&P. It will be marked either HC325, or HC300. The HC300 has a removable bottem and the hose connctions are located in the center and one edge.
The HC300 also has a removable baffle on the inlet (edge) that alters the air movement inside the chamber slightly and reduces the amount of moisture picked up be the moving air.
Removing the baffle, as mentioned, will provide more moisture, but you will also have more rainout, and can have water droplets accumulate in low spots in the airhose interfering with air pressure.
Be sure to manage your hose so that there are no low spots for the water to accumulate. Hanging the hose from a bungee cord or hook above your head will allow moisture to run back to the cannister, or into your mask. Usually into the cannister. This also provides the ability for more movement without causing leaks.
