Please take a look at the reply I've just made to the lady who has bloating: I put a checklist into it, and you may find it useful to review it.

Please also dig out your sleep study report and tell us more about its findings, particularly hypopnea and central apnea events.

You should also be clear on whether you mouth breathe. Mouth breathing without a full face mask negates most of the value of CPAP. A dry mouth and throat on waking is the symptom - and that alone could explain what is happening.

Also keep in mind that quite a few of the major sleep labs plan to call their patients back for review at about the 6 month mark.
