Do you empty the humidifier chamber every morning, and then use the machine the blow it and the hoses dry before you leave for work?

I use distilled water, I clean the little intake filter on my BiPAP machine regularly, I wash the mask frequently, but I otherwise never wash the hoses -- we are not designed to breathe sterile air, and dry hoses don't support mold growth.

Do a set-up review, using the checklist I gave in my reply to the lady with bloating. That may give you some clues.

I don't like the way the DME is swapping out your machines - but I doubt that machine changes are the sole cause and full story. If an insurer is reimbursing the DME, get a copy of the account from the insurer. Rip-offs happen. Are you in a major city, with plenty of DME alternatives?
