Tongue plug cure - mouth breathing

Posted by Sas on May 06, 2002 at 11:22:08:

This process has been described before.

If I relax my jaw and thrust my tonque forward, I still have about 1/4 inch open above my tongue. There is no position in which my muscles are relaxed AND my mouth is closed (my mom and dad always told me I would swallow a fly because I never closed my mouth).

Nor can I put my tongue against the roof of my mouth. My tongue is much wider than the top space between the teeth, and my palate is way too high for my tongue to rest against.

Am I deviant somehow?

Thank goodness, at the study (my equipment hasn't come yet) I successfully used the Adams circuit and nasal pillows and the pressure of the air kept me from opening my mouth!
