You are allowed one carry on, one personal item -- construed as a purse or laptop -- and your medical equipment does not count as either, it is in addition to the general requirement.

I have a rolling brifcase thing that is big enough for my laptop and my purse, and a few other things and has an organizer section. The thing I LOVE about it is it has 4 wheels and an external frame that is flat on top and therefore is a stable base for piling things onto. It even comes with a bungee cord for that purpose. I travel alot, and roll my garment bag in one hand and the computer in the other, and intend to add the cpap on top of the computer bag.

The manufacturer is Tutto and I believe they have a website. I have the smallest size and it fits in the overhead nicely.
