Yes, I would suspect that each of us who replied to you and many hundreds (literally) of other posters on this forum have had relief from similar symptoms. (I well remember having my husband get up to take me to school while awaiting my sleep test because I had a small fender bender as I fell asleep while sitting at a light.) If you have a sleep test and it shows some sort of sleep disorder, treatment is available. If it is apnea of some sort, the CPAP machine is usually the first trial. As you get used to it, your mind begins to rejuvinate. Do hurry and get thee to a pulmonologist (not an ENT - they like knives) so that testing can proceed apace. Yes, the nuero person might be knowledgeable - but the pulmonary person probably knows more - ask when you make an appointment.
