I'm a relative newbie to CPAP. I too get air in my stomach sometimes. However, I never get much air because even a little air makes me nauseous. And the nausea wakes me up almost immediately! :>)
(This is nausea is probably a female only issue - my endocrinologist explained it's due to unopposed estrogen.)
However, I have discovered that if I sleep on my back (no side sleeping) I do not get air in my stomach. I'd suggest you try staying in one position (I know it's not easy) and thru trial and error see if you can find one position that prevents air from entering into your stomach.
And, do try the other suggestions in previous forums. They do help. Best of luck to you.
