resmed autocpap spirit

Posted by Bazza in England on May 16, 2002 at 02:35:45:

Just some info for the forum,I have been on cpap for seven months and after a few initial panic attacks ajusted like most people to the therapy which was set at 10 originally then raised to 11. Having read a lot of the info from these forums regarding autocpaps decided to purchase one from resmed.uk with the aproval from my technition.
This cost £435 and also a humidifier £150.
For the last two weeks this autocpap has been reaching between 13.2 and 14.4 on a nightly basis, although it will run as low as 4 until it detects an apnea or snoring I have personally set mine at a minimum of 9 and feel quite comfortable at that and also feel really well again and not tired in the daytime.
Hope this info is of use to others
Good luck
