I have basically the same set up. I think your mask is way to tight. I did the same thing at first but after a while you will learn that it does not have to be that tight to seal and stop any leaks. I still have some marks in the morning but they go away after a short time.

If your nostrils and throat are dry you may want to ask for a heated humidifier.
