Which CPAP?

Posted by Herman on May 16, 2002 at 16:55:00:

Tomorrow I have to decide which CPAP to get. I think I've narrowed my choices down to the ResMed S6 or the Remstar Plus (unfortnately the Remstar Pro is not available) I'll be getting a heated humidifier with either CPAP I get. My level will be 12.

Are there any specific feature that makes one better than the other or an specific negative point. Both seem to be the same size and weigh about the same. I kind of like the Remstar feature where the humidifier can connect directly to the CPAP and it seems to have an easier water chamber to deal with. I think I heard the S6 is quieter, but not sure.

Would appreciate any suggestions from your personal use.
