You can do a nasal lavage several ways, using a Waterpick tooth cleaning machine is one. There is a separate Waterpick tip available for this purpose.

My ENT dr. just gives me a large plastic syringe to use. He has consistently warned me NOT to use table salt. You should use "plain salt" with no idodine in it and add a little baking soda to the solution.

This is an excellent way of keeping material which could turn infectious out of your nose and sinuses.
