I have the same problem and have been on CPAP for over a year. I also use the Breeze and a chin strap and detest the FF mask. I do use the FF mask if I have a bad cold.
I use the Reno Tom chin strap. If you are not familiar with it you may wish to click on one of his postings to get his address and email him. He will send you his design that you can make. It has a lip strap that helps. I put a non-stick gauze pad on the lip strap and put it over my mouth. I would never use tape because of GERD preCPAP. I have not had any reflux since being on CPAP but I cannot bring myself to tape.
I have the air bubbles in the mouth on a regular basis. I do NOT swallow the air, but simply tighten my cheeks and the air goes back into the main flow. This is hard to describe, but you can simply force the air out of your mouth without actually swallowing it. If anyone knows how to prevent the bubbles it would be great to know, but I suspect it is simply one of the those odd CPAP things we have to learn to live with. I am at a pressure of 15.
Breathe well,
