Any possibility that this is a tension headache related to muscular stiffness in your neck, due to your lying rigidly in bed, trying not to disturb the fit of the mask? Neck, back and leg muscle pain is commonly reported by new users, for that reason.

I cannot comment on your mask because I don't use one, and the following msg discusses the use of nasal pillows, but you may find the rest of it helpful as you ease your way up the learning curve:
