Geez. You know, I'm in the medical device field and I am familiar with what it would take to manufacture this unit. Let's just say that they are going to make a fortune off of each one they sell; even after manufacturing costs and such.

I should call them myself. I wonder why it should only last 90 days. Of course, they say that about nasal pillows too (they're made out of the same material). Personally I've had the exact same set of nasal pillows for 10 months now and they're still fine. And, prepare to be grossed out, I only wash them about once a month!
