I know what you mean. I am on day 46 with my mask and am still tired. I keep a sleep log which tells me how long I slept, how good was it, etc. It really helps because even though I am tired I have noticed my stress levels have gone down quite a bit. One of the problems that people face with sleep apnea is that they do not know about sleep debt. Trust me, it's real. It takes time to recover sleep that you hav elost to the point where your body starts to react and you feel better. There is a book that you should read if you have not already. It is called "The Promise of Sleep" by Dr. William C Dement. He is one of the best in the field of sleep medicine. It is a large book, cost $15.95 but will be the best investment you will make. After reading that book you will not want to take that mask off or give up. The consequences are terrible. I tell you this because I am one of those people that wants a quick fix. But I have learned to be patient. I know it stinks, but this is something that took some time to happen and will take some time to get fixed. Also make sure you are very aggressive with your doctors and providers of your equipment. My Ultra Mirage mask worked great after I learned to relax before I went to bed. It made it easier. I also found that my oily complexion caused leaks so at night I make sure that both my face and mask are really clean and there have been very few leaks. Take care and keep trucking. It's not an easy road, but it will be worth it.
