It is a software for the sleep docs to evaluate compliance and other statistical data.

I found this statement on their website.

Caution: U.S. federal law restricts these devices to sale by or on the order of a physician.

So you should call your sleep doc and he may give you a better price or give you a script. Don't know the penality for purchasing without one.
