Auto CPAP or CPAP and NasalAire

Posted by Hosed in Tampa on June 09, 2002 at 15:23:52:

Been on the "hose" now for about two weeks. After trying a couple of El Cheapo masks (supplied by the Sleep Center) and a couple of sizes of Nasal Aires, i settled on the comfort of the Nasal Aire (large).
My DME gave me the RemRest to use (pressure is 7), it's as basic as they get but it seems to get the job done for now. But I am a little nervous about it's ability to maintain a consistent pressure. I'm fortunate to have very good insurance and now that I have settled on the NA I'm researching other CPAP or AutoCPAP options.
I'd like to have an AutoCPAP, but do I need all the options it offers and do they work well with the NA. It seems like they are designed to work solely with masks.
If anyone has any suggestions on which AutoCpap or CPAP might work best with the NA I'd very much like to hear them.
Thank you very much!
