Sleeping Sweats

Posted by thx1138 on June 12, 2002 at 09:20:58:

Regardless of when I sleep, whether it be a 5 minute cat nap in the middle of the afternoon or sleeping for a full night I ALWAYS sweat. Sometimes are worse than others but it always occurs. My hair is always greasy and disgusting when I wake up. Most of the time when I sweat, it feels like a cold sweat, but i think it is due to my body temperature rising. I feel like my temperature rises that much that I think I am the reason that my matress is worn down so much. When I look at my matress with all the sheets off you can tell exactly where i sleep due to the large crater that is left. My pillow is disgusting as well. Every morning it is wet, and is really starting to smell very bad. I have washed that pillow and its case numerous times but it doesn't seem to help. I go through pillows about every 4 months due to the smell. Febreeze helps the smell temporarily but it eventually comes back. Most of the sweating occurs on my neck, face, back and legs, but when it is really bad it sweats on my arms as well. Not sure what all to do. I have been checked for tuburculoses and diabeties and it was negative. i am fine in that department. Every morning when I wake up, i have extremely bad breath as well. Sleeping is starting to become very unappealing, and is starting to take a toll on my sex life. I have been dealing with these sweats for as long as I can remember. Any advice??
Thanks
