I was to have attended APSS and I had looked forward to a few of the papers that were to be presented and to several of the poster sessions that seemed to be extremely interesting.

Near the last minute, I had to book an out of town trip and could not attend.

The press coordination was great but I think the conference people always think the public wants press releases that are too shallow and uninformative.

To all those whom I had promised reams and reams of information on the latest scientific discoveries: sorry.
