don't necessarily concentrate on looking for "experts". At this point you need a very good sleep medicine generalyst. Sleep medicine is turning into a large field and as such sub specialties are coming about. For example my doctor is an "expert" when it comes to surgeries. He is one of only two doctors in Canada that is qualified to perform some of the newer and more advanced surgeries for sleep apnia. Is he the best doctor for me, not realy. I do not wish to go the surgery rout and he is not as interested / knowledgable about CPAP. He pushes the surgery route as that is his area.

At this point keep all options open and don't get baged down in "experts". They may be too focused for you at this time.
