Look for board certified sleep specialists in your area.

Look on Bibliosleep, Medline, New England Journal of Med, Thorax, Chest, Sleep, NSF, NHBLI, etc. There are thousands of research articles and hundreds of "experts".

Read "Sleepwatchers" by Dr. William Dement about the history of sleep research. Or the "Promise of Sleep" for an overview of sleep.
