Snowman, thanks for making me do a lot of study on Argenine as a precursor to nitric oxide. Interesting.
I would think the neurohormonal property of no2 and it's cardiac properties are not directly related.
The part of your argument I am most questioning is the role of inflamatory processes on OSA and how a pill may in some way facilitate this.
I do not see diabetes or heart disease as an inflamatory process that would impact OSA. Inflamation in artery disease is a relatively new concept and is changing the way it has been traditionally viewed. Everything we have always been taught about plaque formation and clot formation is out the window.
I think we need much more facts about the relationship of inflamation or immuniological approach to OSA. There may not be a relationship there. I would like to know of work in anti-inflamatory therapy affecting OSA.
I could be wrong.
