I have been on CPAP for three weeks. To be honest, I haven't had it every night. A number of times I would lay down a while before "getting ready" for bed and slept the rest of the night without the mask, and a few nights we had lightning and I didn't want a stray bolt to fry my machine. I hope the chest pains are helped by the CPAP, but I don't really know what is causing them.
