I am not one to discuss this in real detail as I do not have sufficient training to do so. I do know that this is a relatively new concept and is gaining traction, mostly because it seems to work. Releasing large ammounts of nitric oxide does indeed reduce inflamation. I understand recent findings re nitroglycerine and how it actually works support this idea. Although it has been zapped on me before there are detailed referances available at www.medassistgp.com
